We are a child placing agency for Sand Springs and the surrounding areas. At SSH Connections, we are dedicated to finding safe and nurturing temporary homes for children and youth in state custody across Sand Springs and the surrounding areas. By partnering with us, you can play a crucial role in providing these vulnerable children with the care and stability they need.

SERVICES WE PROVIDE

FOR FOSTER PARENTS

  • We work with DHS to match foster children with loving and supportive foster families.

  • We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support for our foster parents to help them succeed in their role.

  • Our experienced case managers work closely with social workers and other professionals to ensure that each child’s needs are met and that they receive the necessary services and support.

  • We collaborate with external resources and connect families with therapeutic services, including counseling and therapy, to help children process their experiences and build resilience.

RESOURCES WE PROVIDE

FOR FOSTER CHILDREN

  • We provide educational support to help foster children succeed academically, including tutoring, mentoring, and advocacy for their educational needs.

  • Foster children have access to healthcare services to address their physical, emotional, and mental health needs. This includes medical and dental care, counseling, therapy, and psychiatric services.

  • We refer families to local support groups for foster children to connect with others who have had similar experiences and to receive emotional support and guidance.

  • We provide life skills training to help foster children develop essential skills for independent living, including budgeting, cooking, job readiness, and housing assistance.
