Sand Springs Children’s Home welcomes children aged 10-18, including sibling groups, who meet placement criteria. We require a minimum of a 1 year length of stay prior to turning 18 years old (children can not be a day past 17 yrs old to qualify for placement). We serve children in DHS custody and offer private placements from across Oklahoma, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, or disability status.
Due to our family-style environment, we are unable to accommodate children exhibiting violent or aggressive behavior, engaging in sexual acting out, or who are unable to participate in a public school setting. We also are not able to accept children who are transitioning directly from an inpatient treatment center.

The Sand Springs Home operates on a no-fee basis, generously funded by the Sand Springs Home Trust.
We accept residents placed by DHS/OHS through a contracted partnership at no charge to the state.
